my thoughts on tea party people...

I don't think all of the tea party goers are racist. However a good number of them are. I'm tired of all these lame tea party activists coming on T.V. and acting so cavalier towards the amount of racism. Its extremely neglegent to just shrug your shoulders and say "well, we can't control that". Dr. King did a pretty good job of tamping down the more extreme headed members in his organization. You didn't see any violence towards whites, or "Kill Whitey" signs anywhere. How is it that Dr. King could manage to stay on message and control his people during this turbulent period but the tea party leaders can't? And by leaders I mean large corporate health insurance giants and other interests. These interests are able to send mass emails to people and give them talking points, bus them to government building, and feed these people but you can't tell someone to take down a sign? The truth is... the organizers of this "movement" don't care to weed out the ignorant and hateful people because thats EXACTLY who they are trying to bring under there tent. This tea party nonsense is just another stain on the fabric of american history.
